Make-Up

I don't hide my love for make-up. It's clearly written (carefully
applied) upon my face. After struggling for years with severe acne it acts as a comfort, a beautiful mask that enables me to create a new persona every day- a different shade of lipstick, darker eyebrows- I love it.
Although now my skin has cleared up after a long (and painful) course of Roaccutane, my fondness for products lingers, and perhaps has intensified as I get older. I have spent hours fawning over blog posts and Youtube videos analysing the art of contour, winged eyeliner, strobing. I can appreciate make-up as a form of art; a skill that so many women posses that goes unnoticed and unappreciated.
So next time you admire someone's makeup, let it be heard I can guarantee it will make their day (and all their effort worthwhile too).
